Whimsical Décor for Children and Home
Once upon a time there were two mommies who wanted unique furnishings for their homes but didn't want to pay steep retail prices. These mommies began creating their own whimsical treasures by scouring old antique stores and reliable thrift stores for solid pieces of furniture, then recycling them with paint, fabric, and paper. The mommies soon realized that they could offer their services to the general public in an effort to create beautiful handcrafted home furnishings, including furniture and accessories, at a fraction of the cost of popular retail stores and boutiques.
It is our goal to create individual and one-of-a-kind furniture pieces and accessories to brighten up your home. We believe in the importance of our homes reflecting our spirits, and in the comfort of our personal space confines. Using old wooden picture frames, photo mats, clocks, lamps, shades, tin buckets and anything else that can be refurbished is the key to keeping our costs low and keeping originality high. Additionally, we are inspired by recycling items that might have overstayed their place in this world.
One of our guiltiest pleasures is to update and customize YOUR wooden pieces. Whether you've purchased a bare wood stool, believe in the durability of a well-worn dresser from your childhood, or find a great deal at a garage sale (our favorite!), we can give it new life AND implement your preferred color schemes.

OUR STORY
Red Bucket LA was started by 3 sisters raised in a farming community in Southern Indiana. After many years of working for corporate America in retail, sales and marketing, we decided it was time to live our best life by combining family, fashion and fun. We soon discovered that our baby chick collection brought smiles and laughter to so many customers. We remind people of simple pleasures and take them back to a time of innocence.
PRODUCT
Our baby chick collection onesies and tee shirts are custom-designed and made of 100% interwoven cotton, elastic free and tagless in the neckline for babies' comfort. To the touch, our unique designs have been specially flocked to bring the fuzzy baby chicks to life. Sizes range from 3 months to 4T.
BEHIND THE SEAMS
Our original designs are inspired by fond childhood memories with an added sense of humor. Our name Red Bucket LA was inspired by those memories. As children, we would fill up a Red Bucket with cold water to cool off our feet while playing in the hot summer heat.

We hand make several styles of dresses and outfits as well as separate pieces. Customers rave over the ability to make coordinating sibling sets for pictures and special occasions. We have premade items and also take custom orders so you can choose your fabric and style at no extra cost. Our receiving blankets, little "lovies", diaper bags and nursing covers make great baby gifts for the new mom!
You can purchase items through our website or many on site locations. We participate in various festivals, fundraisers, and craft shows. Host a Trendy Sisters Show in your home! Hosts receive a $25 store credit or $50 for a "super show" towards their purchase. We book 2 shows a month and it fills up fast!
